Strange name.

Seem good so far. If I were to make some suggestions, it would be to remove the spirits and polearm mastery, as they seem too close akin to Paragon and Ritualist. (unless you can make them differnt) One relating line of skill I want to see is Dart/Needle/Blowgun type, which use to apply differnt conditions and effect to their foe. Boomerang and chakram (flying disk) can also be use as one of its weapons. Of couse, that is only if I am suggesting...

Well, I am sure you can add something interesting. Have fun.

A summoner with a melee attack weapon, sounds a bit mix matched.

Armor levels don't add, only one part of the body gets hit by an attack and only that part of the bodies armor reduces the damage (70, not 350 all together). That is unless it doesn't account for armor at all.

Change the name to "The Savage" and polearms to spear chucking;
add skills like impaled head and body part fetish necklaces and you got a done deal.

For instance:
1) impaled head:
skill
exploit target touched corpse to fashion an impaled head; all foes within range attack 50% slower.

2) tooth fetish necklace:
skill
exploit target touched corpse to fashion a tooth fetish necklace; your attacks deal +x dmg for x seconds.

3) eye fetish necklace:
skill
exploit target touched corpse to fashion an eye fetish necklace; you are immune to blindness and your attacks cannot be blocked or evaded for x seconds.

4) tongue fetish necklace:
skill
exploit target touched corpse to fashion a tongue fetish necklace; you steal +x hp whenever you hit a foe for x seconds.

5) war paint:
preparation
you gain +x hp and attack +10% faster for x seconds.

6) camo paint:
preparation
you gain +x% chance to evade attacks for x seconds.

7) tracking/thrill of the hunt:
skill
you gain +1 adrenaline for each second when chasing a nearby foe for x seconds.

8) peace pipe:
preparation
you are blinded and dazed for x seconds, but you gain immunity to all other conditions and hexes and have +x dmg reduction while blinded and dazed.

Paragon is a spear throwing class, Salvage doesn't work.

Thank you for all you kind, if somewhat brutally honest comments. I think I need to clear up a few misconceptions I left hanging in the air.

1. As so many of you were keen on pointing out, I specifically chose to have a melee attacker so that they could swoop in, strike, and get back out while someone was tangled in a trap. Hit-and-run type tactics are encouraged with this class.

2. chumsy posed some skills that were called War-Paints. That's somewhat funny to me in that that's what I was going to call my Headgear for the class.

3. The Middle-Range Armor and Polearm Mastery Skill Sets are sort of to set up a safety net for the encouraged tactics with this class, in case you time it wrong and wind up with an angry critter on your tail.

Hit and Run is Assassins main function, among very few functions the class provides.

The Dervish is said to be able to summon the something of the gods on himself, but I don't know exactly what that means.

I will say that Polearms like Halberds are a very significant weapon, but I don't forsee this class doing it much justice. Natives weren't known for significant advancements in weaponry, so picturing them with a halberd is kind of unusual, perhaps an original version could be spawned with some original workings, but still.

As for armor class, I kind of hoped for a polearm class which had armor close to or even higher than warrior, but that is a totally different kind of spearman.

I would say that it isn't broken, but it needs more work.

I will make a slight note of that. A halberd, as it has been described to me, in both picture and in word, simply comes off as a fancy axe at the end of a long stick. Would it be less confusing if I called it a Longaxe?
